Policies

Booking terms & conditions

These are the terms you agree to by completing a booking. They live alongside the content policy.

Draft notice: These policies are a working draft pending attorney review. The version posted at the time of your booking is the version that applies.

The booking

By completing a booking you reserve a time slot, the room, the equipment, and an operator. You authorize us to deliver a recorded and edited episode per the package you selected.

Payment

A valid credit or debit card is required at booking. The card is held on file and charged in full at the start of your session. Add-ons selected during or after the session are charged to the same card.

Cancellation and rescheduling

  • More than 48 hours before your session: free cancellation or reschedule.
  • Between 48 and 24 hours before: 50% session fee charged; one free reschedule offered.
  • Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: 100% session fee charged; no reschedule.
  • We reserve the right to waive cancellation fees for verified emergencies.

Content — yours, not ours

You are responsible for the content of what you record. You represent you have the right to use any names, music, third-party clips, or other material in your recording. You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content. This obligation survives the end of the session.

Intellectual property — you own the output

You own the recorded and edited episode and any clips delivered under your package. You grant us a limited, royalty-free license to use brief excerpts (≤60 seconds) for portfolio and marketing purposes only. You may opt out of portfolio use at booking; we will honor the opt-out.

Distribution — we don't promise it

We deliver finished files. We do not guarantee any podcast platform will accept, retain, or recommend your episode, and we are not responsible for takedowns or distribution decisions made by third-party platforms.

Damage

You agree to leave the studio in the condition you found it. You are responsible for documented damage to equipment or property caused by you or your guests beyond normal use. The card on file may be charged for documented repair or replacement cost.

Recording consent

Your session will be recorded. By entering the studio you consent to being recorded. You are responsible for obtaining the consent of any guests you bring before the recording starts.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum aggregate liability to you is the amount you paid for the affected session. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or business opportunities.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts in Fayette County, Kentucky.
